The heads of the International Space Station (ISS) agencies from Canada, Europe, Japan, Russia and the United States met in Tokyo, Japan, on March 11, 2010, to review ISS cooperation. From the left are Dr. Keiji Tachikawa, President of the Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency, Charles Bolden, NASA Administrator; Jean-Jacques Dordain, Director General of the European Space Agency; Anatoly N. Permirov, Head of the Russian Space Agency; and, Dr. Steve MacLean, President of the Canadian Space Agency. With the assembly of the ISS nearing completion and the capability to support a full-time crew of six established, they noted the outstanding opportunities now offered by the ISS for on-orbit research and for discovery including the operation and management of the world's largest international space complex. The heads of agency reaffirmed the importance of full exploitation of the station's scientific, engineering, utilization, and education potential. They noted that there are no identified technical constraints to continuing ISS operations beyond the current planning horizon, and that the partnership is currently working to certify on-orbit elements through 2028. They emphasized their common intent to undertake the necessary procedures within their respective governments to reach consensus later this year on the continuation of the ISS to the next decade. Discovery’s launch remains on track for 1:36 a.m. EDT Tuesday for its 13-day mission to the International Space Station.
At today’s Countdown Status Briefing held at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, NASA Test Director Charlie Blackwell-Thompson was pleased to report that all countdown preparations are on schedule and looking forward to a great launch.
“In this business there are few sites as beautiful as a nighttime launch,” said Blackwell-Thompson. “And I expect this to be a spectacular site as Discovery roars to life early Tuesday morning and lights up the night sky.”
STS-128 Payload Manager Joe Delai applauded the immense amount of work done by a great team to prepare the payload for delivery by Discovery and its crew.
I like it. I see people all the time messing around on their cell phones while dirving. This is no more graphic than any evening show on any of the big networks.

I completely agree. If the internet is ever going to be truly worldwide then it must be able to adapt to all cultures including languages. Thanks for link too.
I have it on two machines. One works awesome, nothing wrong at all, which is a huge leap from the vista that was on it that crashed pretty much daily. The other machine works good all except when it turns off the monitor in screen saver mode. Then the Nvidia video card crashes and the taskbar at the bottom disappears. I cant complain though because it is a 3 year old refurbished machine. Now that I have it set to not turn off the monitor, it works great!

This is so amazing. This vehicle was designed for a 3 month mission. It’s now been 5 years and its still sending pictures and data back. Oh yeah, and its over between 36 million and 250 million miles apart at any given time.
Hey man, this is jasonelmore from the arras theme forums. I was wondering if you could tell me how you customized your top menu up top. Are you using the Multi Level navigation plugin, and if NOT, which file do i need to edit to add subsections for links, much like your “Main” link up top. I would also like to change the color of my nav bar and maybe remove the padding so it looks like a more seemless look. thanks man
